NY Fan

..NY Fan.. is the alter ego of Fanny Bartels, a Dutch Singer songwriter born in the surroundings of Maastricht.
In this city she started writing songs on her guitar and performing for audiences. She won a contest and recorded her first demo.

After playing on several openmics and singer songwriter-venues she moved to Utrecht.

Here she continued performing and also started writing and recording vocals to the beats of Rogerseventytwo (member of TWR72) during some jam sessions. This got her hooked to Electro.

She then travelled the world and started an Australian project with Melbourne based DJ Harris Robotis. Rearranging material of ..Paris Chic.. and ..Discoshow.. she recorded back home, they produced their first tracks together.

With a refound glory of the Disco-sound added on top of Electro, they made 3 more tracks and formed a live band ..We Are Fans.. A EP-release of some of these tracks is due in 2010!

On her arrival back in The Netherlands in 2009, she started writing new tracks for her solo-project and produced these together with several Dutch DJs/Producers.

Now she is in the process of engaging musicians to support her live act.
