Vocalist Joey Dussel tells eagerly how they, Pim & Joey, were searching for band members: ‘Between the appeal on hyves, the most popular Dutch community website, between their first meeting at the train station in Groningen and their show in Paradiso was exactly one week.’ What a hit!. They have supported bands like: 30 seconds to Mars at the Heineken Music Hall and Paramore in 'de Melkweg' (both best-selling bands from the United States). What’s good, comes fast, people say! MakeBelieve, full of ambition and energy to bring their powerpop/emo songs with a catchy twist to the bigger venue’s and festivals. MakeBelieve wants it all! They play shows every week, across all of Holland. That’s not bad for a band that’s existing for only two years now, especially with an average age of 19.
