Mary Had a Little Band

MARY HAD A LITTLE BAND is an alternative and slightly experimental popband from the Netherlands. Clever arrangements and a never-ceasing urge to experiment combined with adventurous melodies sung by a crystal clear voice appear to be the golden combination for this band. In the end of 2009 the band ended up in the finals of "De Grote Prijs van Nederland", in a sold-out Paradiso and in 2010 the debut EP "Six Short Stories" was released and very well-received by both the media and the crowd. Reviewers rewarded the EP with five stars calling Mary Had a Little Band "a genuine addition to the Dutch popscene".

Since January 2011 the band has been playing many livingroom-concerts in every corner of their country which became such a huge success that they deceided to arrange a livingroomconcert-tour in and outside the Netherlands in the winter of 2011/2012.

Behind the scenes: the band is working on new songs for a debut album which will be finished when the time comes.
