Pure Symbol

Pure Symbol is voortgekomen uit een bestaand project van Michael Cornelisse en Peter Payens. Nils en Lars kwamen erbij en vormden samen met z'n vieren een nieuwe band.

About Pure Symbol.

Pure Symbol began to take form in October 2009. Nils and Lars teamed up with Peter and Michael at the Sound Brothers Studio in Deventer, Netherlands. It allmost immediately worked playing together in a band and we knew we had something special going on.

So we kept on going and after only a few weeks we had some songs ready. The First songs we're Awake and Restless World. Awake, because our project had just awoken. and Restless World in response to the crisis going on in the world and the economic and social unrest. Later on we started to write some more songs. City Life, The Right Way and Time to Go soon tagged along.

We started performing and we won a talent show in Rotterdam after just about 4 months, winning first prize! Defeating 2 Holland's Got Talent candidates and other great acts. And now, we're still up and going and we made plans to size up our repertoire.

In the meantime Lars appeared on Dutch television in a dating show, the band was featured in here as well. We allready got great responses from other artists and people. And in the meantime Nils is attending University at Enschede (PopAcademy).

Michael: Solo Gitaar (elektrisch/akoestisch), Songwriter.
Lars: Basgitaar (akoestisch/elektrisch), Songwriter.
Peter: Drums.
