Junkbeat

Junkbeat is een techrock band uit Amsterdam. in 2009 zal het debuutalbum verschijnen. Onlangs waren ze in New York, bij 3FM (Rob Stenders) en Dance Valley.

Junkbeat are Didric Laclé, Jan Bol and Bartho Staalman. Didric and Jan who met at the Amsterdam art academy have been writing and performing music together since 2000.

"We started off being a rockband fascinated by dance music. And because we are musiscians and not DJ’s, we had to invent a new way. Music that holds best of both, rock and techno." The result is an extremely energetic brew that is best served loud!

They have an atomic bunker as there residence and through the years Junkbeat gained a big popularity in the underground scene. From their intense live shows they've been invited to perform on Dance Valley, 3FM, and many more. In February 2009 Junkbeat did a club tour in New York.

Since april Junkbeat started to perform with drummer Bartho "The Man of Steal" to beef up the live appearance and to enrich the music. The debut album "Primitive Force" is scheduled to launch in October 2009.
